Job Description:

(Salaried Exempt)

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current licensed Registered Nurse in State of Tennessee
  • Minimum two years RN experience preferred; one must be nursing supervisory or consultation experience
  • Experience in the field of intellectual disabilities and with health issues that are commonly seen among individuals with intellectual disabilities is preferred
  • Knowledge of the rules, policies, procedures, and guidelines established by the State of Tennessee for community support programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities is preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership/management skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, computer), interpersonal skills, and time management
  • Self-motivated and self-directed in thoughts and actions consistent with the direction of Pacesetters
  • Maintain a Class D driver license


Primary Job Responsibilities

Participate in all activities relevant to the requirements of the Professional Support Services license. Responsible for the administration of direct, skilled nursing services, coordination with other disciplines, and all nursing oversight to meet the skilled health needs of the service recipients supported by Pacesetters. Responsible to manage, support, and provide training and supervision of staff at the medical residential site.
