AboutUs Print E-mail

Pacesetters began as a volunteer program during the summer of 1971 by caring citizens and family members. The goal of providing a humane and productive lifestyle for those with developmental disabilities began as an adult activities center. Operation began in October 1971 and has grown throughout the Upper Cumberland Region of Tennessee in the years since.

Pacesetters has grown to become one of the largest community based day training and residential programs in the state of Tennessee. As of 2010, Pacesetters provides day and residential services in 5 Tennessee Counties and provides personal assistance in 12 Tennessee Counties.
