My Story
Jerry started his journey with Pacesetters, Inc. as a Support Manager in May of 2008; he stepped into a field of work that was very unfamiliar at first. The only common denominator was that he had been in management in almost every previous job. His father wanted him to follow in his footsteps in the geology field. But, at the time, they owned drilling machines for oil wells and he became engulfed in managing men to operate them. Later in life, he moved away and took an interest in restaurant management, where he worked as a store manager for 10 yrs. He later went on to fill the role of a cost control troubleshooter for that same company. The pages turned in his life and he found himself working at Tutco for about 14 years, ending his career there as a member of the Quality Control department. He worked for Edmonds Construction, which was a high-volume builder for about 3yrs. While there, he learned a lot there about different types of building construction and groundwork preparation for those buildings.

He always had an interest in guitar and singing at church and community events. He has played the guitar since he was 8 yrs. old and that has progressed into creating a country band (Slick Nickel) that put him onstage countless times including a splash appearance in Austin Texas. His music venture has been a blast and he enjoys it very much.
